Meet The Artist
Based in Calgary, I am a multiple award winning child and family photographer and the 2014 National Association Child Photographer of the Year and am a NAPCP Ambassador. Always seeking to improve my craft, I maintain an active membership in the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) and a Craftsman Member of the Masters Photographers International. Teaching and sparking a light in others is a passion of mine and I have taught photography courses at Babyf in Madrid, in Santa Barbara at the National Association of Professional Child Photographers Retreat, and various local camera clubs. Underwater family and child photography is both a love and a niche and out of wanting to build a community, I founded UnderwaterKids to offer education and resources to the growing field of underwater photographers.
Why does that matter? It means I have invested the time, care and attention to developing my craft, and furthering the field of photography. And that’s the same time, care and attention that I take with your session and your memories. I love to see both those small intimate moments as well as those really big ones, because they all are important. Because they all matter.
Giving back is so important to me. I also devote my time to several charities and organizations that are close to my heart. Chief among these is the Tiny Light Foundation, a charity whose mission is to provide professional photography for children and families that have been faced with a life-altering diagnosis.
I can’t wait to meet you and hear more about your family.
